And The Show Must Go On..........

 Spot

I was looking out the back window from the kitchen and saw a kid kicking a black and white spaniel puppy. The poor thing kept coming back for more. I didn't understand! I was horrified!
Jim told me to calm down 'cause he knew I would jump fences to protect an abused animal.

I was ready to climb down this kid's parent's throat when I noticed he was kicking what looked so much like my childhood reading books featuring Dick, Jane, Sally and Spot.
Poor Spot kept coming back and taking the abuse. I could stand it no longer!
Jim was sure that I was going to attack that kid and could barely hold me back when I said........ Oh, never mind!

Meet Spot!

 Patience with GrandPa

Patience with GrandPa

A woman in a supermarket is following a grandfather and his badly behaved 3 year-old grandson.

It's obvious to her that he has his hands full with the child screaming for sweets in the sweet aisle, biscuits in the biscuit aisle; and for fruit, cereal and pop in the other aisles.

Meanwhile, Granddad is working his way around, saying in a controlled voice, "Easy, William, we won't be long . . . easy, boy."

Another outburst, and she hears the granddad calmly say, "It's okay, William, just a couple more minutes and we'll be out of here. Hang in there, boy."

At the checkout, the little terror is throwing items out of the cart, and Granddad says again in a controlled voice, "William, William, relax buddy, don't get upset. We'll be home in five minutes; stay cool, William."

Very impressed, the woman goes outside where the grandfather is loading his groceries and the boy into the car.

She said to the elderly gentleman, "It's none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don't know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay William is very lucky to have you as his grandpa."

"Thanks," said the grandfather, "but I'm William . .. . the little b........d's name is Steve."

 Joey

Let me introduce you to Joey (Joseph Andrew Bornac).

Joey came into our lives on January 13, 2010 via a good friend's granddaughter, Courtney
Courtney said she had to 'get rid' of her puppy as her father didn't like him for the 'messes' he created (Her best friend had given her this little black pomeranian)

Courtney and Joey were instruments in my life as I have looked for 'My Schatzi' all my extended life!
Courtney chose me to be joey's 'Mommy'. She told me that if anyone would love this little puppy it would be Ms. B.

Yesterday morning, Joey could not stand nor walk! We feared the worst!
It was so frightening that Jim and I started praying. We hardly slept, worrying!

This morning Joey was up on his feet and waiting to go pee! He bounced all over the bed and played with his toys.

Can anyone relate our experience of fear and helplessness?
Today JoJo is doing very well.

Joeyfull days!!!
