And The Show Must Go On..........

 The story of the traveling pants, underpants.....

Have you ever went to put on your britches from the night before and could not find your underwear that was with them the night before?
Isn't it embarassing when a stranger locates them dragging the floor hanging from your pant cuff, in a public arena!!! OOPS!

I had a customer that had 'Traveling Underwear' hanging out of his pant leg. I didn't say anything. I just waited and then followed him into the movie and 'Low and Behold' there they were in the hallway. Looked to be a size XXXL. I didn't even alert an usher, I took a broom and dustpan and swept them up myself..... *smile*

 ~~~ Healthy Music ~~~
I love to sing!
I believe that no matter how bad your day is going, it is healthy to still be able to sing or to hum a tune.
I don't consider myself to have a very good singing voice and am timid to be heard in public.
I spend most of my day humming or singing any song that may find it's way into my head and heart.
It may be a Christmas carol in July or a random Folk Song in December.
It might be a Janis Joplin tune, Elton John or 'The Boss'.
Country Music is always easy to pick up and remember the tune and/or the words.
Gospel Music is one of my favorites and also easy to remember as I have heard these songs most of my life.
I was born into a family of musicians.
Mom played the piano, Daddy played the harmonica.
The oldest Son plays left-hand guitar, the second Son is very good on the banjo.
The youngest, twin Brothers are a combo of drums and guitar, mandolin and keyboard.
The Brothers are prolific in writing some very, very good songs.
Mom and Brothers and Sisters also wrote very poetic muses throughout their lives. Daddy was also a creative writer only his talent lay more towards philosophy as is my favorite in my own contributions!
We were a family of ten, four boy children and four girls.
Times were tough and we were poor but our parents accomplished what many families cannot accomplish today with money left over at the end of the week!
In another month, we will have another annual family reunion complete with 'Healthy Music' and a whole lot of love and wisdom gathered in one house.
This is our Dad and Mom's legacy to us and we cherish it everyday!
Until then, I will be singing our songs and humming our tunes!
 FTC on Movie Ratings
In my profession, we are continually scrutinized for our application of the rules defining the movie rating system.
Sometimes it is not easy, especially when we do not get the cooperation of the parents. More and more, we are monitoring the parent rather than the adolescent or under age child who tries to 'sneak' into an R-rated feature.
This past Wednesday, I had a situation that involved a Mother, her 15 year old son and her 9 year old son.
She did not want to see the 'R' film but it was okay with her for her teenage son to see it. She wanted to watch the PG movie with her younger son.
The rules are that "anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by and adult of 21 or older".
My experienced mind told me she was going to defy the system by allowing her elder son to see the movie without her presence!
Of course, I met them at the doorman's post to direct them to the movies that she purchased. She was not happy! First, she told me the cashier made a mistake, that she was sold the wrong tickets! I guess she didn't see me in the box office as the transaction took place...
I told her that she had to accompany her 15 year old into the 'R' film and stay to watch it with him. She was deflated by this time but not to the point that she would not defy the rules that is my job to uphold!
She asked that she send her eldest into his movie as to not miss the beginning. Further, she asked that she seat her younger son in his movie and would be back to accompany her other son.
The Mother did not return from seating her young son. I had to go get her and tell her she had to be with the under age son in the Restricted movie!!!
Now this is a first in my field:
I had a Mother sneaking into a PG movie, she got caught and was made to go to the R movie!
This is so bizzarre because we are constantly monitoring young adults trying to sneak into an 'R' rated film and send them into the movie that they purchased because they didn't have proper ID for the 'R'!
I have lots of stories but it is getting really, really bad about parents allowing the deception by both herself and her kids.
I see more and more a parent lieing about their childs age...in front of the child! I see it on the childs face that they were told to stay quiet but they cannot hide the grin on their faces, knowing they got by with the lie....!
What are they teaching their children?
Is teaching the children to lie and deceive worth that one buck that they save?
 I am just one me.
I enjoy watching nature as it unfurls and expires as Mother Nature paints her own pictures.
I am an observer to all things and people. I can communicate with my dog, Sunny and have always had this ability with animals.
I remember most of everything I have experienced or read.
I am of 59 years with age abundant upon my face and silver crowning my head but I am not old nor will I ever be, for I will always 'be'!
 Hope you all are well and dry!
The torrential rains are affecting many across our United States. I live in only one state and am not as devastated as are others. I hope you are well, healthy and dry!
What can I do to help?
Sincerely,
Oscar Sue
